Journal Entry Captain Nathan C. Jackson Day 0 Some day this has been. For the record, which is kind of what this is, I am only doing this because it would have been sort of a mandatory expectation for my position as a member of the military. I know I would have maintained something similar to this as a member of the advance team. Plus, I have been maintaining a personal log of mine as well, so maybe I ought not to be complaining. Maybe I ought to explain the situation in case the reader is for some reason unaware of the happenings. Let's start at the beginning. In 2068 humanity had finished construction of 50% of the Dyson Sp...

Resolution

My camera remained pointed exactly at the window. I didn't want to lose sight of this. The kid looked as confused as I was, and I felt that was saying something for both of us. I momentarily looked over the camera and, surely enough, the chair was empty. But through the lens, the same boy from the pier stared at me dumbfounded. "Who... Who are you?" I asked. "Does that mean you can see me?" He asked back. I nodded. "You nodded! That means you can hear me too! Oh my God! Oh my... Wait... Hang on," He slapped his hand on his head as he chuckled. "Oh, who am I kidding..." he said as he stood up, camera still pointed at him. "Well this was a nice change of events, but it's not going to last." He started to walk out of the classroom. "Sorry to disturb you, good-bye." He said as he closed his eyes on me and stepped outside. I remained rooted there for a second then I chased after him. I looked around the corrid...
